Portland’s tech scene may get all the attention, but it isn’t the state’s most densely packed start-up hub.
That honor goes to Corvallis, according to joint report by entrepreneur advocacy group, Engine Advocacy and the Kauffman Foundation. Powered, in part, by Oregon State University, Corvallis ranked No. 12 among metro areas for high tech start-up density, which accounted for city size and population. Bend was No. 16, the second-highest ranking for an Oregon city, and Portland was No. 23.
