The farm comprises 130 acres today, with many orchards situated across Highway 20.

Sprague says his father lives to work. Twedt wakes most mornings at 5:30 and starts work, perhaps cutting branches in one of the orchards or picking prunes or doing bookkeeping for the farm. He’ll work as much as he can, stopping to have coffee with his son or help his daughter in the fruit stand.
