The Portland Development Commission and the Pacific Northwest Defense Coalition would like to invite you to join our upcoming B2B NW Supply Chain Opportunities Conference. Previous Conference results have proven that our format is among the most effective for helping manufacturers develop new business. All program participants leave with new sales leads, new strategic partnerships, and, at least, 20 new contacts.
Our program format is the driver of program success. We conduct four 20-minute facilitated roundtables with eight manufacturers at each table. Each company briefly introduces their company and product. Then the facilitator continues drilling into discussion areas focused exclusively on products, parts, and supply chain opportunities for each company. Then each participant transfers to another table and begins the process once again with a new group of manufacturing representatives.
Another major factor that drives the success of our program is the participation of some of the world’s renowned OEMs. We conduct two OEM panels throughout the program to break from the roundtables. In addition to participating on the panels, OEMs also join the roundtables. The OEMs that have participated in previous programs include Boeing (2), PCC Structurals (2), Daimler Trucks North America (2), Vigor Industrial, Blount, and Meggitt Polymer & Composites (MPC).

We are seeking to invite more international manufacturers from Asia, Europe and North America in an effort to grow opportunities to create strategic partnerships with our regional manufacturers. Manufacturers from outside of the Portland region potentially have capabilities that our companies don’t have. But as strategic partners, they could bid on larger more lucrative projects with OEMs, the U.S. Department of Defense, and other federal agencies. In addition, our organization and partners will arrange additional networking receptions, tours and programming for international delegations.
Manufacturers with core competencies in metals, alloys, plastics, polymers, ceramics, composites, chemicals and liquid crystals; using such processes as fabrication/machining, forging/casting, tooling & fixtures, extrusion, injection molding, micro-fabrication, costings/surface treatment, semiconductor, thin film coating.
